Stephanie's Update: August 2008
Breakthrough to Success Seminar: Scottsdale, Arizona
"What we do in life, echoes in eternity"
- Maximus from The Gladiator
On August 8th our Founder and Director, Stephanie Graham will make her way to the beautiful and luxurious Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona to attend the life changing seminar Breakthrough to Success with Jack Canfield.
"I attended BTS last summer and had the time of my life. I am definitely familiar with a wide variety of self empowerment tools and training, but never before have I been through a process quite like the one that Canfield lead us (all 400 of us!) through during 7 spectacular days and nights. I HIGHLY recommend it!"
Stephanie was encouraged to return as a graduate of the program and she eagerly signed up for another round.
Following the close of the event on August 17th, Stephanie will post a full report, including pictures and links to helpful sites, resources and people that she encounters during the event.
If you are really ready to change your life and create positive habits that STICK, then this event just might be for you!
So check it out and learn what it's all about. www.jackcanfield.com

NEWS UPDATE on the Magic Yeti Children's Libraries in Nepal!
Just a few days ago, MYL project leaders, Liesl Clark, Pete Athans and Phoebe Coburn left on another trip to Nepal.
They intend to return with another big load of books and supplies to Tsarang, a remote Nepali village in upper Mustang, where 30-50 young girls live and study. The beginnings of their library was established this past April when Pete and Liesl combined work on a film project with making sure the girls received their first delivery of books we had prepared for them in Kathmandu this past winter.
With Tsarang being so remote, the introduction of advanced learning and reading materials is very exciting and is capable of providing amazing empowerment to these eager and intelligent Nepalese girls!
Following this second delivery to Tsarang, the trio will then head up to Phortse, a village located on the trail to Everest in the Khumbu Valley. This will be the location of the 3rd Magic Yeti library. Once they have taken stock of what might be needed in the way of shelving, chairs and paint, it will be time to make plans for a big book delivery.
Phortse is also the site of the Khumbu Ice Climbing School, lead by Conrad Anker and Jenni Lowe-Anker and funded by the Alex Lowe Charitable Foundation. Once February 2009 rolls around it will be time for the annual climbing training for local Sherpas and it will be a perfect time to work on the new library in Phortse!
